What is a Custom Compound?

Sometimes you just need something special. A compound is a remedy that pharmacists make by mixing two or more ingredients together. Combined they become a medicinal blend that is not commercially available.

You may need cream format because you want to avoid take a medicine by mouth, or it may be a lower dose than what is normally prescribed, or a liquid formulation for a child or a natural hormone when synthetics won’t do.
